Sustainable Use Brings Out Natural Beauty
By sawing and milling the trees here on our property, I'm able to take the time to select the lumber for each part of the casket with an eye for both function and beauty. Using the trees sustainably means making the most out of the natural character of the trees, and I do my best to highlight these natural features through bookmatched lids and tone and grain selection in the casket bodies.
Solid Construction
Beneath the light appearance of the natural caskets is a solid frame.
I reinforce the casket and trundle bottoms with a rail and panel undercarriage, and use solid dowels and reinforced miterlock joints at the corners.
